A Legacy and Unity Build ~ Help Us Build Housing Stability for ALL Of Us

We’re looking for champions to help create housing stability and increase the housing supply by expanding on the way we build through our partnership housing model in Brantford! Habitat Brant Norfolk’s Brantwood Park Road Project is a Legacy – and Unity – Build. With a total of 56 units and a mixed ownership of buyers. Those who purchase through open market sales with a realtor and those who purchase at market value through Habitat for Humanity’s affordable homeownership program. Research shows people thrive when they can purchase a home they can afford to live in. Everyone deserves a safe, decent and affordable place to live but not everyone earns the same level of income. Income earners who want to pursue homeownership and build equity by purchasing a modern, contemporary condo-style home that feels like a traditional single-family dwelling will love the design features of 200 Brantwood Park Road, and the condo living lifestyle standards.

1, 2, and 3 bedroom units available for both open market sales and market value Habitat home sales.

We’re closing the gap on homeownership for working families and individuals in our community.
What’s an open market sale buyer? An income earner who can afford to purchase at open market value, with a conventional mortgage.
What’s a market value Habitat home buyer? An income earner who can afford to purchase at market value, when the option of an affordable mortgage model is offered for the full purchase price or even for partial the price, to maintain monthly mortgage payments of no more than 30% of household income plus condo fees and municipal taxes.

Habitat for Humanity offers an alternative and affordable mortgage model for families and individuals who earn a lower or moderate income. In some cases, they may even qualify for a conventional mortgage but it’s simply not enough to purchase a decent and safe home in our market because of the cost of housing – or the down payment with a conventional mortgage is a hurdle. Habitat for Humanity helps to remove some of the obstacles to homeownership (such as no down payment, a low or no interest mortgage and affordable monthly mortgage payments based on household income). In addition, Habitat homeowner families participate as a partner on their journey into homeownership by volunteering a minimum of 500 hours, helping to build their own home and the home of others.
Registered teams are required to help fund the build through fundraising, these funds help us to purchase the land, materials and services to build Habitat homes.
